Marilena

In this project i learn a lot about cultures, people that i never met because and because of this blessing that is called erasmus i had a chance to meet them.

Not only that i learned about communication, human rights, intercultular learning and organize workshops with people from different backrounds than others. I hope i will meet them in the future and have an experience like that again.

MARIJIA

During this week I have developed my skills in implementing workshops about new topic. Due to the fact that the main topics of my work are emotional intelligence, resilience; I really enjoyed the process of creating and implementing a workshop with people whom I met just one week ago.

I learned from Renos that it’s possible to explain thoughts and terminology easily with simple examples and words, so everyone (hopefully) gonna understand you. I will definitely develop this skill as a facilitator. So, as I said at the session, sometimes it’s not necessary to overthink. Also I learned from Alex that you ALWAYS should ask yourself ?WHY? I am doing it. I will use it in my daily life and work as well.

I also developed my skill of teamwork and understanding that it’s important to give a floor for those who don’t have experience. During “debate session” I was a bit sad, that I hadn’t got chance to explain my arguments, but yesterday I realised that it was nice, that I gave an opportunity for those, who also wanted to try themselves and for them it was first experience like this.

Thank you!

ILIA

It was a very interesting week, unfortunately only a week. This training helped me look at workshops from a different perspective. When I organize sessions, of course, I set goals and what I want to achieve, but I rarely forget the most important question: why? The sessions that filled the training course taught me to ask this question more often. I'm grateful to the organizers for involving a large number of countries in this project, as this allowed me to hear a wide range of opinions from different cultures.
I learned to value time, a resource we can't get back. I can confidently say that the results of the project will be evident in my daily work. If you ask me to briefly describe what the project was, nothing comes to mind except this: Strengthening Key Competences In Lifelong Learning.

Thanks a lot!

ALEKSAS

Personally, I really liked this project it was very refreshing changing surroundings, people, and stuff like that. I really enjoyed how everyone instantly clicked together, even though some people were meeting and seeing each other for the first time. I enjoyed the various energizers and other activities that are typically overlooked, as those are something I will definitely use personally. I’m also happy that I met so many friendly and nice people that I probably won’t ever see again, but it was very exciting to be part of this Erasmus+ project

FILIP

This week at the Erasmus+ training camp, I learned how to work with people from different countries and cultures and improved my communication in English. Through group work and interactive activities, I developed teamwork, listening, and problem-solving skills. I also learned more about Erasmus+ opportunities and gained confidence by stepping out of my comfort zone and connecting with new people.

MARTA

Due to the project, I have some realizations. It started with photography, but soon I understood it's not only about photography

At a certain moment, a photographer

must choose whether they want to create the best possible image or a professional image. And these are not one and the same.

Being professional does not mean being the best, but mastering a system - the terms, concepts and methods that are tested, and compatible. To be professional means to be oriented toward collaboration.

Unique in a good way result is sometimes neither repeatable nor compatible with a system.

That's why I am learning to integrate into teamwork. I don't always know how to connect my most specific strengths with group work. It is often easier to work individually. I am still learning.

AGNESE

I liked the fact that the people in the project learned to work as a team through various tasks. I gained new experience, new skills, and had the opportunity to get to know different cultures. I strengthened my bilingual language skills.

ANDREEA

This week was both interesting and challenging, offering valuable opportunities for growth. I developed key soft skills, especially in communication and teamwork, while learning to cooperate with people from diverse backgrounds. I became more aware of how to respond in different situations — understanding when to step in, when to step back, and respecting others' boundaries. One important insight was realizing that you can’t help someone who isn’t ready to be helped. The activities with the kids were truly inspiring and gave me hands-on experience in facilitating workshops with young people.

SARA

I really enjoyed this project, it had increased my knowledge and skillsets on how to work with other youthworkers and youths.

I think it was well organised and addressed our needs very well.

The facilitators were engaging and not too serious and formal but still delievered the message that they wanted to send in a professional manner.

The energisers were all new to me and refreshing as some other projects just use the same energisers.

They consistently tried to mix people in different groups.

The knowledge i learnt i shall keep and use in the future.

For me what cemented everything that we learnt was when we had to go to the school and try to do activities with the kids and that was the biggest learning curve for me. Thank you for everything.

NELIA

I’ve got to meet people who inspired be, whom I learnt from and who shared with me valuable pieces of advice.

I’m a nerd myself in a positive way, so I enjoyed absorbing the new methods and techniques and then immediately implementing them and checking in practice. I confirmed again that I love learning and challenging myself in some way to get to higher level of my expertise.

JOHAN

Despite the fact that I have been working with young people for a long time, every opportunity to find out and learn something new while at the same time making new contacts and gaining new experiences is very important to me.

In this case, I refreshed some knowledge from before and got to know additionally new techniques and methods in working with young people but also in working with youth workers, which is a completely new field for me.

Tockinjo

During the Erasmus+ training course, which lasted seven days, I had the opportunity to meet participants from different countries and exchange ideas, experiences, and perspectives. Throughout the project, we worked together, shared our opinions, and learned from one another in an open and respectful environment. As part of the activities, we visited a local school where we prepared and delivered games about human rights for children. Through interactive methods and teamwork, we helped the students better understand the importance of equality, respect, and basic human rights. This experience improved my communication skills, cultural awareness, and understanding of active citizenship

BOGDAN

Thanks to Alex and Renos, it was a week of teamwork, meeting new youth workers and learning from each other.

We developed workshops for kids, discovering new entrepreneurial skills, as well as many activities focused on intercultural learning, social inclusion, and human rights. We also practiced time management for workshops and learned how to analyze our work by ourselves.

In the evenings, during the intercultural nights, we had the opportunity to get to know different cultures. We learned interesting facts and tried delicious food brought from participants’ countries.

Many thanks to the NECI team.

TEREZA

During the training course I have developed the following skills:        Active listening (with follow up questions)    Working in a team: challenges and benefits   Understanding other people’s needs and communication style, different personalities and diversity    Assertive approach    Not to stress (sometimes) and give a second thought   Presenting skills    People’s reaction are a complex of their characters and experience    Communication skills:        Sometimes a strong compromise is needed from all sides    sometimes m it’s better to step back        I believe those soft skills will help me in future development both in personal and professional (career) life.

PAULIUS

In this project, what stood out to me the most was the work together in workshop with the whole team of six people, especially working with children and going through a personal growth process. Together we worked a lot on seemingly simple workshops for children, which turned out to be a quite difficult task. At the beginning it was quite challenging for me, because it was difficult to understand how a team of six people could effectively work with nine children at the same time. The first workshop activity attempt was unsuccessful, and the second one also raised many doubts, especially when preparing the presentation and trying to find ways to involve all six team members. However, during this project I experienced a turning point. I realised that it is indeed possible to create a presentation in which everyone feels included and involved. When we finally presented together with the children, I felt fully confident and prepared, and all six team members were actively engaged. This project allowed me to grow significantly as a team leader, as a presenter, and as a youth worker, giving me more self-confidence and clarity when working in a team and with children

Matthew

During this week we had a variety of sessions which aimed at improving our capabilities at youth workers. I enjoyed these sessions as they were interactive, different, and successful in enhancing our skills in working with youths.
In particular I liked the session with the school children since we had time to design, practice, and amend the activity while working with other people. Moreover I also enjoyed meeting and working with people from other countries and hearing their experiences in youth work.

For the long time I was more focused in development of quality standard in organization and in implementation of our own projects while in the same time due to the time and availability was not able to participate in other projects.

With new generation learning approach I had find at challenge that we are already facing and that will become more variable in the future. The need that non-formal education evolve once again.

With work in our department that working multigenerational approach I was suspicious that the solution and direction if it development will be given to us by our youngest society members. With this project and activity in the school, it was confirmed to me that it is correct and that this is the target group from which we have a lot to learn.

I plan to focus more into work with this category to reach goal of methodology development in our organisation.

Next to it accommodation was very good, food was decent, local team very friendly and it was rear situation where I had felt that I am not home.

IASMINA

Having two of the people that inspire me and that taught me so many things over the years, made decision to apply to this training course a no-brainer. Both Alex and Renos are trainers that I look up to and that are an infinite fountain of knowledge and lessons.

It was a pleasure to meet some peole that I work with but I only "met" in emails and to discover that we are not only a good team on-line but also off-line and I am sure that this training created the context for a very long and strong partnership.

I was taken out of my confort zone and I was put in the situation to work with kids much younger than my usual age range and for that I am thankful. I realized that with the right preparation and with the right people, anything that seemed impossible is becoming not only possible but easy and natural.

As always, NECI is doing it's very important contribution in my development and puts yet another brick on the path I decided to follow.

Thank you Renos for the knowledge!

Thank you Sasha for the inspiration!

This project was  educational and fun for me. I met new people from different places with many differences and similarities and  we were all able to exist peacefully and learn from each other. As someone with no experience I learnt many things about Erasmus, the other team members and their culture.
The program helped me personally to build social skills and communication . I was able to work out of my comfort zone and surprisingly, I liked it.
